The Senior Facilities Manager oversees and manages all aspects of facility operations across multiple dealership sites, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company and industry standards. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and leadership of a team of facilities professionals, focusing on preventive maintenance, budget management, and the implementation of capital projects. Responsibilities include oversight, planning, and execution of construction and renovation projects, waste reduction improvements, and regular inspections to ensure adherence to the organization's customer and safety culture. The role also includes coordinating and directing the design, planning, maintenance, and alteration of buildings, equipment, machinery, and other facilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
· Develop long-range plans and capital outlay requirements, including documentation for facilities, and provide insights to support the Strategic Facility Master Plan.
· Conduct facility condition assessments to ensure the optimization of existing assets and support the facility infrastructure capital plan.
· Inspect facilities and evaluate space utilization across multiple sites to ensure efficient use and alignment with organizational goals.
· Collaborate with division VPs, senior leaders, and internal business partners to identify opportunities to support business requirements and align facilities operations with strategic objectives.
· Manage RFP solicitations, budgets, and vendor performance metrics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
· Plan, develop, and coordinate facilities modifications for routine operational needs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and efficient execution.
· Support the Project Management Team in planning and coordinating major facility modifications by providing location-specific operational insights and facilitating collaboration with the store's operations team during project design and execution.
· Oversee and direct maintenance personnel, custodial services, and workers engaged in equipment installation, repair, and preventive maintenance activities.
· Supervise and develop facilities team members to achieve operational excellence through coaching, training, and performance management.
· Analyze facilities systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, critical power supplies, lighting) to identify and address deficiencies and support operational efficiency.
· Conduct audits to support facility planning, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Review real estate contracts for compliance with government specifications and suitability for occupancy, and assist with due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, and leasing activities.
· Collaborate with finance, legal, marketing, and communications teams to provide operational insights and enable a comprehensive enterprise strategy.
· Support the Project Management Team by acting as a liaison for capital construction projects, coordinating operational requirements, and assisting with interactions involving public utility providers and environmental agencies. Ensure alignment of facility operations with project objectives while deferring permitting and municipal appeals to the Project Managers.
· Inspect construction and installation progress to ensure conformance with established specifications and operational needs.
· Monitor facility performance metrics, such as cost per square foot and system uptime, to assess efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
· Enforce compliance with company policies and best practices for facility safety, efficiency, and maintenance.
· Other duties may be assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
· Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or a related field, or 7 years of relevant multi-site facilities management experience.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
· Familiarity with current laws, building codes, OSHA regulations, and health/safety standards.
· Proven experience in budgeting, project management, and team leadership.
· Ability to define and resolve problems quickly with excellent troubleshooting skills.
· Proficient in MS Office Suite and related software.
· Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) preferred.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
