What You Can Expect Working in the Corporate Sales Manager Position

The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by establishing new accounts, promoting new products, negotiating MSA’s, and expanding Armoda’s business into new markets. The position will be based in Houston, TX to provide adequate coverage for our primary corporate accounts with EPC firms, OEMs, and majors involved in oil and gas, petrochemical, maritime, defense, and renewable industries. The Corporate Sales Manager will be our subject matter expert (SME) that helps Armoda promote new product lines and enter new markets. As an SME, you will advise customers on recommended Armoda products for Cargo Carrying Units (CCUs) as well as portable accommodations and offshore zoned cabins. You will report to the Director of Sales & Business Development and will work closely with the estimating, project management, service, and marketing teams to advance department goals and secure new orders. The primary territory for this role will focus on the US Gulf Coast and US East Coast, with future goals for international expansion. This role will be responsible for traveling for client meetings, presentations, facility audits, tradeshows, and networking events.

Responsibilities

  • Manages corporate accounts and build relationships with current and potential clientele.
  • Negotiates MSAs and contracts with target accounts to establish Armoda as the preferred vendor.
  • Works closely with Service to ensure proper scheduling for equipment based on pipeline of activity.
  • Provides feedback to the Director of Sales & VP of Armoda to help establish annual budgets and develop plans for fleet expansion and CAPEX requirements.
  • Develops pipeline of opportunities and secures orders to achieve revenue targets for lease fleet, custom sales, and service support.
  • Develops monthly/quarterly travel schedules to ensure adequate coverage of key accounts in the US Gulf Coast and the US East Coast territories.
  • Provides SWOT analysis and market intelligence reports to assist with entry into new markets and new products.
  • Travels for meetings, presentations, site visits/facility audits, trade shows, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Provides weekly updates through CRM to ensure all departments are kept up to date.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in Business or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development or outside sales.
  • Experience in the oil and gas or maritime sectors.
  • Prior sales experience with Cargo Carrying Units (CCUs) or offshore modular buildings.
  • Sales experience in the US Gulf Coast and US East Coast territory.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to obtain a Passport.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Organized with attention to detail. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • International business experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of offshore industry requirements.
  • Experience working with EPC and OEM firms.
  • Ability to understand basic technical/engineering principles related to modular structures.
