We invite you to come join Shin Imaging Center, Rezolut company as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist. This is a Part-time position and is located at our multi-modality outpatient imaging practice in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
- Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
- Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
- Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- May occasionally travel to our nearby outpatient centers to help with coverage if needed.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Two (2) years as an MRI technologist in a full-service Radiology/MRI Department.
- MRI Safety Computer skills for operating within RIS/PACS, medical terminology, good communication skills.
- Ability to successfully complete job-related communication and arithmetic calculations.
- Certification in MRI by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology ARRT (MR) or AMRIT.
- Must have 3T closed unit experience
- Venipuncture/IV contrast Administration Certificate required
- BLS
- Bilingual preferred but not required
