Summary

Senior Project Managers in the Commercial department at Sambatek provide expert consultation to a wide range of clients, from developers to architects, contractors to landowners, and more. Responsibilities include navigating entitlements, client interactions, marketing/business development, scheduling, invoicing, development of budgets, etc.

The Sambatek team includes well-established managers with decades of experience who are passionate about mentoring younger managers and providing opportunities for growth to professionals with all levels of experience. This is a tremendous opportunity for the right person to help continue the expansion of our Land Development team.

• Work Location:  On-site with flexible work arrangements, hybrid available 
• Expected Compensation Range: $120,000-150,000 annually (Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications)
• Pay Rate Type: Salary

Responsibilities

• Possess strong design fundamentals and deliver complete documents at project milestones
• Provide or direct others on design coordination between architects, MEPs, Geotech, and other disciplines
• Represent Sambatek at meetings with cities, clients, and external project team members
• Prepare proposals for new project opportunities
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget
• Provide day-to-day guidance to project team staff
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and design staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer license in Minnesota
• 10+ years of consulting experience in land development 
• Driven to exceed expectations and win over clients
• Effective written and verbal communication, independent judgment essential
• Good mentoring skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to change focus quickly during a typical day
• Positive and solution-oriented approach to problems 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Work is primarily performed in an office environment
• Ability to occasionally move equipment/objects weighing up to 10 pounds
