Night Audit Manager
You are the go-to person for all things overnight. As Night Audit Manager at The Westin Nova Scotian, you are actively working hand in hand with your team to deliver an exceptional guest experience—being an example of true hospitality and stepping in to assist the guest as needed, especially at night when the hotel has the most guests—and the least staff—on property.
This is more than a desk job. You’ll lead by example, support the Night Audit process, guide front desk operations, handle late-night guest needs, and be the Manager on Duty for the hotel. You’ll be trusted to handle the unexpected with professionalism, confidence, and poise. In the role of Night Audit Manager, you will:
• Be Guest Centric - Ensure that every guest feels welcome and supported—no matter the hour. Lead the overnight team in providing warm, efficient, and professional service, and set the example by personally engaging with guests when they arrive late, need assistance during the night, or depart early in the morning.
• Be the Voice of Assurance - Connect with guests during check-in, late-night needs, or early departures—listening with intent and responding with care. Whether it’s a billing concern, a room issue, or a special request, handle it confidently and promptly. For your team, be the steady, reliable leader they can count on when challenges arise or decisions need to be made.
• Be the Standrd Others Follow - Lead by example with professionalism, precision, and a commitment to excellence. Whether balancing reports or handling a guest concern at 3 AM, your actions set the tone for the entire shift. Encourage accountability, support your team’s growth, and foster a culture of pride and ownership in every detail.
• Be the Overnight Manager on Duty - Take ownership of the hotel overnight. Supervise the Front Office and Guest Services teams, ensure property security, resolve operational issues, and guide emergency responses when needed. Support the Night Audit process and ensure financial accuracy in daily closings.
