Description
A ProPeer Quality Assurance Specialist ensures regulatory compliance and billing integrity in all programs and services and incident management. This position will collaborate with training and department leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement effective quality control measures.
Requirements
Essential Job Functions:
• Perform audits, provide feedback, and accuracy across various teams
• Provide quality assurance progress reports to IDR leadership
• Perform daily quality assurance evaluations to ensure assigned productivity targets are met or exceeded across all business lines
• Conducts root cause analysis and other data calibration with the IDR team and with cross functional departmental team members
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve quality
• Communicate quality improvements to IDR leadership
• Actively contributes as a project team member in identifying issues, developing solutions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Serves as an escalation point for complex inquiries, unresolved issues, and resolution management
• Conducts investigations as required
• Ensure training documentation is regularly reviewed to maintain accuracy and align with current standards and operational practices
• Assumes other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed
Knowledge and Abilities Requirements:
• History of strong performance and quality assurance scores
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload within a fast-paced, high pressure, deadline driven environment
• Exemplary planning, time management, organizational and attention to detail skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with others and within a team environment
• Demonstrates exceptional analytical thinking and critical thinking skills in diagnosing and resolving complex issues
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in quality management system and quality system audits
• 2 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or other highly regulated industry is preferred
License and Certification: N/A
Driving Essential: No
Position Demands:
This position requires sitting, bending, and stooping for up to 8 hours per day in an office setting. Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 20 lbs. Ability to learn technical material. The person in this position occasionally needs to move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc. Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, etc. The person in this position frequently communicates with guests, team members, and vendors and must be able to exchange accurate information.
