The Director of Sales Operations is responsible for designing and executing data-driven strategies to drive sales to meet company goals. This position plays a key role in sales operation functions, including forecasting, planning, and reporting capabilities.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Development and Growth Strategy.
Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $179,656 and $215,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote. Candidates located in the Northeast or Phoenix/Tempe, AZ areas are preferred.
Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 20% travel year-round, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months. Travel requirements will include weekly overnights to support the territory, and some evenings and weekends for client engagements, dinners, industry trade shows, etc.

Envision Your Experience.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Partner with sales leaders and regional managers to design, implement, and monitor sales strategies that align with company goals.
- Leverage data analytics to identify trends, optimize sales performance, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Support annual planning processes, including quota setting, territory design, and sales capacity modeling.
- Drive the forecasting process by analyzing pipeline data, win rates, and performance against targets, delivering regular insights to executive leadership.
- Lead preparation and facilitation of regional operating reviews, providing clear visibility into performance drivers and areas of opportunity.
- Develop, draft, and track incentive compensation plans, including working with sales leaders to determine appropriate quotas.
- Work with the Business Intelligence Systems team to optimize dashboards, reporting, and KPIs to track and communicate sales performance across the organization. Help maintain data governance standards in applicable systems.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Product, and Marketing to ensure alignment of sales operations with broader business objectives.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve sales processes, tools, and data integrity to drive greater efficiency and scalability.
- Lead and manage a team of analysts responsible for sales administration and reporting.

Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in sales operations; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Proven track record partnering with sales leadership to drive strategy and performance, including experience supporting regional or global sales teams in a high-growth environment.
- Strong background in quota setting, territory planning, sales capacity modeling, forecasting, and pipeline analysis.
- Experience leading regional operating reviews and executive-level reporting.
- Deep understanding of sales performance metrics, KPIs, and incentive compensation design.
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools, such as Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, or Salesforce.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements that drive scalability and efficiency.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
