This role will be based in our Wilmington, DE.  We offer a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.

Responsibilities:

As a Claims Concierge, your primary objective is to deliver all that is great about Berkley One and to help deliver an exemplary claims experience to our customers. Ideal candidates will have experience working as part of a successful claims team that delivers exceptional service.

At the direction of the Casualty Claims Supervisor, the Claims Concierge will support Claimants and Claims colleagues to deliver a seamless claim experience.

  • Process in a timely and accurate manner:
    • Foundational claims including glass and towing
    • First notice of loss
    • Invoice processing
    • Total loss statements
    • Total loss processing in Title Express
    • CCC assignments to vendors
    • Posting recoveries
    • Property bulk billing in ONE Click
    • Property vendor assignments
    • Property loss prevention benefits
    • Police report ordering
    • File pulls
    • Inbound and outbound mail
    • Arrange for car rental set ups and extensions
    • Respond to claim inquiries such as payment status, claim status, check reissuance
    • Other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience contributing on a high performing claims or customer service team in a high growth, fast paced environment. You are an excellent collaborator.
  • Calm under pressure. You have excellent organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks. You are comfortable challenging norms while working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • You have a strong sense of accountability, fun and adventure.
  • Natural curiosity. You love learning how things work, and you are always looking for innovative improvements.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work independently to get the job done.
  • At least 2 years work experience in office setting performing clerical and data entry tasks.
  • Proficiency with technology.
