Your Role

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in defining and shaping manufacturing processes from our contract manufacturing suppliers through factory delivery. This position offers broad impact within a growing company—bringing opportunities to strengthen supplier engagement, provide technical leadership, drive process improvements, and support an evolving product portfolio, with particular focus on electrical and PCBA-based systems. This is an onsite position. 

We are unable to sponsor H-1B, F-1 OPT, and STEM OPT extension at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with contract manufacturing suppliers to manage production quality, process control, and capacity for PCBAs and sub-systems.
  • Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and line layouts to improve efficiency, safety, and throughput.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Test, Quality, and Operations to resolve non-conformances and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deploy NPI Manufacturing plans to support the evolving product portfolio.
  • Apply structured root cause analysis tools to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Support cost control, supplier selection, and product improvement initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.

Core Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering field.
  • 5+ years of experience in PCBA or electrical system manufacturing. 
  • Proficiency with continuous improvement frameworks with practical application in manufacturing environments
  • Ability to review PCBA designs, EQs, and provide actionable DFX recommendations.
  • Strong foundation in statistical tools and methodologies for process control and optimization

Desired Skills / Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex electrical manufacturing challenges and communicate effectively across engineering and operations teams
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across engineering, operations, and supply chain
  • Experience with environmental protection strategies including conformal coating material selection, preparation, application, and best practice handling and rework procedures
  • Experience driving performance management initiatives with Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) partners; familiarity with industrial test automation and electrical safety standards
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and industry standard regulatory and compliance standards.

Pay Range: $140,000 - $160,000

*Base salary only. Salary is dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.

**Additional compensation may include equity, bonuses, stipends, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and long-term disability insurance.
