Job Description
Main objectives :
Provide a timely and insightful consolidated reporting of financial and non-financial information to Shareholders, Supervisory board and GEC
Analyse, track and monitor performance at Group level (KPIs, analytical P&L)
Supervise quarterly forecast process
Coordinate group management reporting / management information
Jointly with Group Market Controller and Method process, define a set of dashboards, templates and presentations to be followed by the corporate countries in order to support the region in their monthly closing and foster harmonisation of the data
Continue to build and develop the team that is motivated, enthused and willing to go the extra mile when required
Work closely with Group Market controlling and consolidation & reporting teams
Main missions :
Financial and performance analyses (Actuals, Forecast, Target)
Perform accurate analyses and assessment of financial data to provide relevant, critical and insightful information through excellent communication and presentation in a timely, reliable and accurate manner to Top Management and key stakeholders to ensure effective decision making.
Contribute to and review the key deliverables of the department, in particular the monthly report to the Executive Committee (“performance update”) to ensure accuracy, quality and relevance of data and analyses
Conduct and provide insightful ad-hoc analyses to the CFO, Senior Leadership Team, Board of Directors
Ad-hoc presentations to the Finance community and other Functions
Track the Group performance portfolio by brands and markets (Europcar, Subscription, Fox, Goldcar, Ubeeqo, Gocar, ) on a monthly basis and for all reporting cycles.
Develop financial reports P&L, KPIs, Balance Sheet
Build analytical template (by countries) to follow up the data
Define recurring checks to ensure data quality and provide actionable insights
Interact with the different functions to provide global financial insights to steer the different businesses
Integrate My Europcar and Whitlabel reporting into the brand performance tracking process. Define data collection and group reporting rules
Ownership of the Forecast Process:
Engage with stakeholders to understand their business needs
Propose and design relevant process and calendar
Communicate the milestones and key aspects of the process
Plan and supervise the production of the key deliverables to support the process :, instructions, restatement of prior year if needed, presentation templates (excel/ppt), and follow-up of deadlines and deliverables
Prepare the presentations to the Senior Leadership teams and the Board of Directors
If relevant, actively contribute to the Group Target Guidance by designing and building an excel file for the Group Guidance, contribute to the elaboration of the model together with Group Strategy and Finance Senior Leadership and draft the guidance letters.
Lead innovation, transformation and spread culture of FP&A
Provide leadership in developing sustainable reports and analysis, streamline and transform processes to reduce turnaround time and improve quality & efficiency
Provide the right level of support to the regions/organisations Embark your key partners and peers by fostering innovative communication and education
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
Internal : Group Executive Members, Group deputy CFO, Market Controllers, Group Function leaders and Group Finance
External : Group External Auditors, Group Banks / rating agencies and lawyers
Candidate profile :
Previous experience :
Min 5 years in finance experience preferably including external auditor experience
International experience Group Controller/FP&A/Reporting
Education level / certificates : University degree
Languages : English fluent, French is a plus
