Purpose of Position:
Provide network, internet, intranet and software support, maintain equipment and technology, troubleshoot for and correct problems, and provide technical assistance to end-users in all of the villages supported by Norton Sound health Corporation.
Uphold the organization’s vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization’s policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.
Essential Functions:
- Provide service and technical support to employees regarding network, hardware, software, phone and other information technology equipment
- Maintain computers, printers and other technology equipment by performing preventative maintenance on equipment and devices, ordering and ensuring proper installation and/or maintenance of parts, and otherwise keeping devices in working order
- Perform installation and maintenance of organization's printers, ensuring wiring is appropriate and sufficient
- Troubleshoot and correct networking and computer technology problems on behalf of the end-user
- Perform preventative measures and/or corrective action when necessary
- Maintain software applications according to established policy and procedures
- Travel back and forth from the villages at least 75% of the time
- Perform other duties as assigned
