OPPORTUNITY

Westmount is currently seeking to hire a Sr. Human Resources Generalist for our Dallas, TX Office. The Sr. HR Generalist will report to the Director – Human Resources, provide comprehensive support to the Director of HR and work closely with the HR Coordinator. This is an in-office role located in Downtown Dallas.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas, including thorough understanding of processes and company policies to ensure the best outcomes:

  • Performs bi-weekly payroll administration and reporting processes using Paylocity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. This includes entering and maintaining employee hourly rates, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes and other information.
  • Lead year end payroll activities to include W2’s and other federal filings including EEO1, ACA, etc.
  • Assists with the administration of all benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability and other deductions.
  • Ensures accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS and provides vendors with accurate eligibility information. 
  • Responds to employee benefits inquiries regarding plan provisions, enrollments, status changes and other benefit related questions.
  • Reconciles monthly benefit invoices to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Lead open enrollment administration, including employee education, partnership with benefits broker, and ensuring accurate HRIS file feeds for seamless execution of benefit changes. 
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains HRIS software to ensure functionality, accuracy, and reliable file feeds; partners with vendor to resolve issues as needed. 


REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of previous Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as a payroll and benefits administrator.
  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Experience working in a small company (less than 200 employees) a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems with the ability to quickly learn the organization’s system, Paylocity experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of HR functions, policies, best practices
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
