Phlebotomist (Part-Time) - Immediate Care at FQHC

 Part Time Rotating Schedule: Monday - Saturday 8a-8p

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect blood samples from patients accurately and efficiently, following proper procedures and safety protocols

- Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of specimens

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards

- Assist patients with specimen collection, providing reassurance and clear instructions

- Document patient information and specimen details accurately in electronic health records

- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient needs and specimen requirements

- Follow all regulatory and safety guidelines related to phlebotomy and specimen handling

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification preferred

- Previous experience in a clinical or community health setting is a plus

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures

- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings or weekends if needed
