Every time a house is bought, sold or refinanced in Australia your lawyer, conveyancer and lender will most likely use a digital platform to settle your property, this is where we come in. PEXA’s world-first digital settlement platform has revolutionised the way we exchange property in Australia helping over 20,000 people a week safely settle their homes. And this is just the beginning. Our data and insights are helping organisations unlock the intel they need to drive change and possibilities.
Since starting our journey in 2010, we now employ a team of over 1,000 people working across multiple continents. We’re still growing, innovating and looking ahead, but behind our greatest achievements, there is a team of curious creators and big thinkers. That’s why, we’re looking for ambitious people like yourself to join the team.
A day in the life
This is a part-time opportunity (3 days / 0.6 FTE) designed to give balance while still delivering real impact across the Group.
In this role, no two days are the same. One day you might be partnering with senior leaders to review our psychosocial risk strategy, the next you’re chairing a WHS Committee meeting or working with our PX Partners on a complex employee relations case. You’ll spend time designing and rolling out training programs, guiding leaders on how to manage safety and wellbeing in practice, and making sure our systems and reporting frameworks are humming. You’ll also be the person who ensures compliance with regulators while keeping things practical and people-centred. Most importantly, you’ll be visible, engaging across the business, listening, and helping to shape a culture where safety and wellbeing are genuinely part of how we work every day.
About the role
This role exists to take ownership of WHS and wellbeing across the Group. It’s about compliance, yes, but more than that, it’s about culture, influence and making a real difference to how people experience work at PEXA.
Key capabilities we’re looking for:
• WHS strategy and compliance expertise – able to embed systems and make legislation practical.
• Stakeholder influence and leadership – credibility with ExCo, regulators, and senior leaders.
• Psychosocial risk and wellbeing expertise – designing prevention programs and driving culture uplift.
• Governance, reporting and risk management – confident in building frameworks that support decision-making.
• In terms of credentials, we are looking for tertiary qualifications in Work, Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or related WHS qualification.
What success looks like in the first 6–12 months:
• Our WHS Management System is embedded and trusted across AU, with clear roadmaps in the UK.
• Leaders feel confident and capable in managing psychosocial risks.
• Our WHS Committee and Wellbeing Champions network feel energised and impactful.
• ExCo and the Board have clear, reliable insights into safety and wellbeing risks.
• Employees notice a positive shift in how safety and wellbeing are part of everyday culture.
