The role of the People Services Specialist is to provide effective transactional and administrative support to managers and employees in the assigned geographical area. 

  • General HR Administration support

  • Act as the first line response for all employee queries, ensuring accurate and timely responses to the business

  • Provide advice and guidance on Elekta’s HR policies and procedures to employees and line managers

  • Update and amend HR policies regularly

  • Geographical and/or process Subject matter expert where required.

  • Create, manage, and review HR employee templates which includes, but are not limited to employee changes letters, employee contracts, settlement agreements, parental etc.

  • Consistently ensure that Employee files and the employee portal is reviewed and updated

  • Act as a superuser of Workday, data changes during the employee lifecycle, on-and offboarding tasks etc

  • Ensure employee data is accurate and updated in a timely manner

  • Provide induction and on-boarding support to new hires.

  • Participate in various People projects, process improvements and Service Center activities.

  • Manage and process payroll controls, including communication

  • Absence related tasks including tracking and general support.

  • Responsible for the Local Comp & Benefits Admin (Benefit systems or tools)

  • Provide admin support for HR related QA audits

Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably from a generalist role gained in a dynamic, matrix and change oriented global organization with process complexity

  • Good knowledge of HR related administration, processes, and procedures

  • Ability to manage a busy workload, work flexibly adapting to changing priorities and meet expectations.  

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English

  • Experience and knowledge in Microsoft Office package, specifically excel and word  

  • Confidentiality and the ability to deal with sensitive information discreetly is essential  

  • Proactive and service-minded approach
