Position Description:
Under the direction of the kitchen lead/manager, the food serving assistant will assist in the following areas:
1. Some preparation of food
2. Serving food
3. Sanitation procedures
4. Supervision of student workers
5. Quantity control
Special Requirements: (Certification, training, specialty skills or previous experience)
1. Some knowledge of quantity food production.
2. Some knowledge of kitchen equipment.
3. Ability to respond to instructions and follow recipes.
4. Ability to demonstrate good public relations with students, staff and the public.
5. Clean and neat appearance.
6. Bilingual applicants desired, but not required.
7. Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
NUMBER OF HOURS PER DAY: 3.75 HOURS PER DAY
NUMBER OF DAYS WORKED PER SCHOOL YEAR: 178 DAYS PER YEAR
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $16.69 - $23.47 PER HOUR (RANGE 7)
