As Head of Marketing, you will be accountable for leading HelloFresh Marketing for the US. You’ll connect product narratives to commercial performance while strengthening brand identity, orchestrating PR and creative campaigns, and ensuring customer insights power  creative, product and growth strategy. This is a builder role for a leader who’s comfortable rolling up sleeves, coaching teams, and shipping high-leverage work quickly.

Your mission is to:

  • Build and protect the HelloFresh brand in the US, ensuring distinctive positioning, compelling campaigns, and strong brand equity (measured by awareness, consideration, preference, and NPS).
  • Drive profitable growth by owning the customer journey from acquisition through retention and LTV (measured by CAC, payback, ARPU, and retention curves).
  • Translate consumer insights into creative briefs, PR narratives, and go-to-market plays that connect brand storytelling to commercial outcomes.
  • Work with the product team to refine its positioning on key features and translate consumer insights into new products that deliver strong business results.

You will...

  • Own brand health and P&L outcomes, balancing creative brand building with rigorous, data-driven growth.
  • Lead segmentation, ICPs, and JTBD programs that inform roadmap and channel/message strategy. Own positioning & messaging frameworks and value propositions for our portfolio; validate via research, creative tests, and funnel performance.
  • Orchestrate GTM with Product, Brand/Creative, Ops, and central teams; publish playbooks and enable local execution.
  • Maintain a living competitive & category map; drive response plans (feature/story/offer).
  • Own the acquisition→activation→retention continuum across paid/owned/earned (paid social/search, affiliates/partners, creators/influencers, TV/OTT/audio, SEO/GEO/content, referrals, CRM).
  • Set media mix & budget steering with Analytics/Finance using MMM/MTA insights and incrementality tests; shift spend toward true lift.
  • Translate consumer insights into creative briefs that guide campaigns, content, and partnerships. Lead integrated campaign development that unites brand storytelling with growth objectives.
  • Oversee consumer and corporate PR, ensuring campaigns align with brand positioning and drive positive visibility.
  • Track and report on brand health metrics (awareness, consideration, preference, NPS) alongside growth KPIs.
  • Coach a team across PMM, Growth, and Brand; set rituals (WBRs, experiment readouts, brand reviews), clarify priorities, and develop talent.
  • Partner deeply with Product, Data/Analytics, Central Brand/Creative teams, Operations, and Finance; align on OKRs and resourcing.

You are...

  • Experienced: 10–15 years in consumer tech/DTC with depth in PMM, Growth, and Brand.
  • Brand-Strong: Proven success in campaign development, PR, and consumer insights; experienced with brand tracking.
  • PMM-strong: Expert in positioning/messaging, segmentation, GTM orchestration, and influencing pricing/packaging.
  • Growth-fluent: Managed multi-channel portfolios at scale; adept in experimentation, CRO, lifecycle CRM, and referrals.
  • Outcome-driven: Track record improving brand health, CAC payback, lifting LTV  and retention.
  • Data-native: Hands-on with MMM/MTA, incrementality tests, and payback math; partners well with Analytics/Finance.
  • Hands-on leader: Comfortable switching between strategy and execution; levels up ICs/managers and models inclusive, candid communication.
