About the Department
Work hours are flexible and include evenings and weekends. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Positions are essential to the success of events at the rental facility, and responsibilities must be met in fair and inclement weather. Applicants must display excellent customer service, have reliable transportation, the ability to work a flexible schedule (including nights, weekends, and shifts longer than 8 hours), in addition to possessing the ability to work with a diverse public. Event set up and breakdown of tables and chairs and light and heavy lifting are required in all positions.
Position Duties
Event Aide ($15.45 per hour to $20.00 per hour)
Applicant must be available in fair and inclement weather and at night and on weekends. Assists event supervisor and assumes delegated responsibilities as assigned, which includes but is not limited to setting up and breaking down tables and chairs, general cleaning to include restrooms, trash disposal and grounds maintenance. Light and heavy lifting will be required.
Maintenance Aide ($15.45 per hour to $20.00 per hour)
Assists the lead maintenance person and the event supervisor with cleaning and maintaining the property and event set up and break down. Applicant must be available on nights and weekends. Light and heavy lifting will be required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must be 18 years and up.
- Be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
Other Qualifications
Must successfully pass a complete background investigation prior to hire.
May be subject to medical, drug and alcohol testing.
