Job Summary
This role is the clinical product expert that is responsible for an assigned territory and supports the end-to-end (E2E) clinical customer experience of our Ultrasound solutions. Collaborates with customers, Account Managers, Field Service Engineers, Clinical Marketing Managers, Product Marketing Managers, and operations to provide sales support (demos), schedule and deliver onsite or remote system training (new product installs, software changes, upgrades, new technologies, etc.) for Ultrasound solutions throughout the lifecycle of the product. Responsible for managing adoption and system optimization of designed solutions for long-term engagement and loyalty of customers. Also responsible for training needs, customer escalations, and provides voice of the customer (VOC) feedback to be shared with the Product Marketing Managers, Clinical Marketing Managers, and the Business Unit (BU).
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Sales Support:
· Provide pre-sale and post-sale product support for the Ultrasound portfolio to meet or exceed AOP within the defined territory (OIT & Revenue)
· Support the business to meet market share goals for the modality
· Partner with the Ultrasound Account Manager to schedule and perform product demonstrations, both onsite and virtually, as required to support assigned territory and assist as needed in other territories and zones
· Provide clinical support at trade shows, local conferences, and workshops as assigned
· Attend and actively participate in monthly calls with local Sales and Service counterparts to discuss the territories/opportunities and develop collaborative strategies
· Provide Account Manager with prospective leads to improve visibility
Installation Support:
· Work with customers, Account Managers, and Field Service Engineers to schedule installations for new system purchases and commercial upgrades
· Effectively communicate with customers prior and post installation on education and provide a summary to the customer post education
· Ensure United Imaging’s Upgrade program is implemented, and upgrades are performed within the contractual timeline by working closely with the FSEs and Project Management to request kit orders, support scheduling of upgrade, and ensure proper completion of documentation in appropriate tools.
· Actively participate in planning calls
Customer Training/Education:
· Provide post system installation education for customers through entitlements and/or purchased service to drive utilization and adoption of tools and technology
· Provide the highest-level customer experience for on-site training and customer communication
· Takes a leadership role in the personal ownership of the learner experience through customer consultation and collaboration with internal stakeholders
· Participate in New Product training initiatives, support all service-related customer system issues requiring on-site clinical support
· Escalate customers’ issues according to the United Imaging Escalation policy and complete Customer Feedback forms within the 48 hours per United Imaging policy
· Ensure quality training and education to drive customer satisfaction scores
Business & Administrative Tasks:
· Ensure financial targets for revenue and recovery are met for your assigned territory by managing and maintaining your Open Work Orders and providing accurate forecasting of all individual activities that will support the zone in meeting or exceeding goals each month, quarter and annually
· Attend calls as required to drive success of the Ultrasound business
· Complete expense reports within the United Imaging policy
· Successfully manage all company assets in your possession: laptop, company vehicle, Ultrasound system, transducer, phantom: zero lost equipment, equipment maintained as new and in top physical condition
· Maintain vendor credentialing requirements
· Adheres to the company policies, procedures, processes as it relates to quality and the United Imaging behaviors
Education/Credentials:
· Associates typically required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
· Have and maintain ARDMS/ CCI certification or equivalent.
· Have and maintain the advanced registry certification per modality if applicable
Experience:
· At least 3-5 years clinical experience as an RDMS/ CCI Sonographer
· Current and valid ARDMS or RCI registry required. (RDMS and/or RDCS) CV = Adult Echo, (AE) and/or Pediatric Echo, (PE) registries at a minimum GI = Abdomen, OB/GYN registries at a minimum (RVT, MSK preferred)
· Depending on Ultrasound Modality being hired for, looking for a candidate with thorough understanding of:
- Advanced clinical applications and 3D/4D as it applies to General Imaging and Obstetrics and Gynecology/ Echocardiography
- Any of the following applications is preferred: MSK ultrasound, Fetal echocardiography and or Breast ultrasound, pediatric/ congenital echocardiography
- Advanced clinical skills such as TEE, 3D Imaging, Strain Imaging, Structural Heart, Pediatric, Fetal Echo and Vascular
- Working knowledge of 3D/4D acquisition, manipulation and quantification along with extensive anatomical knowledge as related to modality, preferred
Skills:

Mental and physical job requirements:
· Fluent in English
· Lift parts or carries parts weighing a few ounces to over 25 lbs.

· Must possess a valid driver's license
· Willingness to travel overnight up to 50-70% of the time, depending on geography; May require night and weekend coverage on occasion.
