Mortgage Operations Specialist (French Speaking)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Operations Analyst to join our Mortgage Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of mortgage loans through to closing. This role requires in-depth knowledge of CH mortgage operations processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and process approved mortgage loan applications (new and refinanced) through to closure.
- Coordinate and communicate with client relationship managers, notaries, land registries and borrowers to collect the required documentation and close the mortgage.
- Prepare offer letters and contractual documents (in French)
- Review and explain terms to clients, before securing client signatures
- Coordinate with Notaries to register mortgage liens and prepare for disbursement and property transfer
- Disburse loan funds in accordance with contractual terms
- Input/update data (e.g. interest and amortization schedules) in mortgage and client data platforms
- Monitor for missed payments
- Support client enquiries
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal Service Level Agreements and policies
- Maintain mortgage processing pipeline and track progress to ensure on-time closings.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure mortgage data meets all internal and external stakeholders requirements
- Provide regular status updates to borrowers and stakeholders.
- Support any audit requests and post-closing reviews.
Eligibility Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of mortgage processing or related mortgage operations experience, here in Switzerland
- Good knowledge of Swiss mortgage products (e.g. Fixed, SARON, etc)
- Experience in mortgage processing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Notary designation is a plus.
Languages
- Fluent, French (spoken and written)
- English and/or German an advantage
