JOB SUMMARY 

Provide an efficient operation of the carousel while ensuring a fun and safe experience for all guests. Must be able to work varied hours: nights, days, weekends and holidays, working approximately 10-15 hours per week.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Operate the carousel control, including starting, stopping and adjusting the speed to provide a safe and enjoyable ride experience.
  • Redeem Carousel Club Cards.
  • Monitor the carousel’s operation, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise promptly.
  • Assist guests in boarding and getting off the carousel, ensuring their safety.
  • Check that riders are seated and secured before beginning the ride.
  • Maintain a clean and organized carousel area, adhering to all relevant safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing any concerns.
  • Perform opening and closing of carousel procedures including morning test run and basic carousel upkeep.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Other duties as assigned.

 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:   

  • Ability to work directly with the public. 
  • Read, write and speak the English Language.
