Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Brand Controller to support the financial steering and performance tracking of our Brands.
This role plays a key part in the preparation of business plans, profitability analyses, budget tracking, and monthly reporting related to Brands.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Management :
- Manage and supervise the comprehensive budget for brand marketing activities, ensuring they are cost-effective and adhere to financial deadlines and guidelines.
- Consolidate, analyze, and present budgets within the defined perimeter.
- Provide support to the consolidation group for monthly closings, including analysis and commentary.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Conduct budgetary brand guidelines exercise in collaboration with brand directors.
- Perform an in-depth analysis of SRP and COGS, ensuring they align with market standards and budget guidelines.
- Carry out detailed brand P&L variance analysis for the region, identifying trends and discrepancies.
- Provide analytical insights on sales and profitability by line and subline across different countries.
- Identify risks and opportunities, proposing corrective measures as necessary.
- Participate in the monthly and quarterly forecasting process, supporting the consolidation of brand analyses.
Financial Analysis & Reporting : Play an active role in enhancing brand profitability.
- Deliver required financial analyses and presentations for Prestige and Ule brands, ensuring reporting is comprehensive and insightful.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to aid strategic decision-making for brand teams.
- Serve as the primary contact for the Chief Marketing Officer at EMEA, EMEA prestige finance contact for the Japan brand holder team, EMEA prestige director and Ule business development team, supporting them by delivering necessary analysis and presentations.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prepare and present quarterly LE (Latest Estimate) and Budget restitutions to Prestige Brand Holders.
- Partner with senior management and department leads to develop a robust 3-year strategic plan that aligns with long-term business goals and financial objectives for EMEA Brands, covering Topline and P&L up to Brand Margin level.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of quarterly brand review analyses to EMEA Top Management for Prestige brands.
- Supervise and provide guidance to brand finance analysts during their review processes.
- Support the preparation and evaluation of business plans with senior management for new Prestige brand launches and strategic initiatives, ensuring financial viability.
- Drive the implementation of finance reporting dashboards across business teams.
Transformation Finance - FOCUS :
- Act as the finance controlling lead for the procure-to-pay steering committee.
- Manage, communicate, and coordinate the finance controller’s input into the procure-to-pay process.
- Actively engage in change management initiatives to integrate new processes and systems; develop training materials and communication plans to support stakeholders.
- Actively participate in and contribute to the optimization of new tools.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance, ensuring complete financial transparency within the area of responsibility.
- Engage with various stakeholders to garner support for deployment and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Power BI Dashboard Tool
- Ensure the optimal design and adoption of the Finance Dashboard across EMEA business teams.
- Drive the development of additional dashboards for the EMEA scope, encompassing all countries and brands, in collaboration with the Finance Power BI lead and IT Team.
