The Role
Join the crew keeping things moving at Gwalia! Genesis Minerals is on the hunt for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to be part of our energetic Processing Maintenance team. Based in Leonora, you’ll play a key role in keeping our Crushing and Grinding circuits running smoothly at the heart of our gold processing plant in Leonora.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will (DIDO) from Kalgoorlie, or prefer a residential role, we’ve got options to suit your lifestyle on a Lifestyle 8/6 FIFO roster.
About You
You will be a motivated, collaborative and flexible individual who loves being ‘on the go’, with a strong appetite for problem-solving and process improvement. Proven Mechanical Fitter experience on Gold processing equipment, supported by a relevant Trade qualification will set you up for success as will the following:
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in Gold
EWP, Telehandler and confined space tickets are required, and CN Ticket is desirable
Pronto experience is highly desirable
Manual C class Drivers License required
Ability to produce a National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months) for site access purposes
Current unencumbered West Australian ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence;
