Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Solution Architect to join our Channels, WB and Support functions Team of Architecture CoE

Your key responsibilities:

As a Solution Architect you will:

• Design end-to-end technical solutions ensuring alignment with domain architecture, enterprise architecture and IT strategy
• Refine technical solution directions and technical dependencies drafted in the Epic in coordination with the Enterprise Architect, the Domain Architect and relevant squad members and IT Chapter Lead, using his/her in-depth
• Provide knowledge, vision and structure to help find solutions to pograms or complex IT environments.
• Guide the squads to find the best solution according to the IT strategy  and listening to tribe needs, helping on epics and features priorization.
• Ensure the solutions implemented are aligned with the design and the standards.
• Collaborate with Domain Architect and IT and Business Chapters leads elaborating tribe and assets roadmap.
• Help to align and resolve dependencies between squads.
• Facilitate epics slicing into features and features planning cooperating with delivery Squad maintaining close relationship with delivery counterparts.
• Align with IT Chapter Leads in the evolution and maintenance of tribe´s IT Landscape.
• Ensure solutions designed are aligned within Domain Architecture horizons defined.
• Maintain contact with various stakeholders on all levels of the ING organization, works together with them to achieve the purpose.
• Ensure the maintenance systems documentation is up to date including new solutions implemented.

            A person with a clear strategic vision of the bank and objectives of IT

Problem solving mindset, used to evaluate different solutions and balance between them aiming to reach the best one based on all requirements met together

            You must know and understand the technology strategy applied to the tribe assets or products

            Working  knowledge as software engineer, architect or similar position with tech background

            High knowledge of the infrastructure and IT assets of the tribe domain

            Skills to influence and manage stakeholders

            Works and acts rapidly based on intuition, instead of reasoning step-by-step

            Knows the difference between important and less important details

A person flexible and adaptable, capable of facing uncertainty, acquiring knowledge in several discipline and updating it as often as necessary

Assertive person, able to communicate clearly and directly but adequately

• Diseñar soluciones técnicas end-to-end asegurando la alineación con la arquitectura del dominio, la arquitectura empresarial y la estrategia de IT.
• Refinar las direcciones de solución técnica y las dependencias técnicas definidas en el Epic en coordinación con el Enterprise Architect, el Domain Architect y las personas del squad relevantes, así como con el IT Chapter Lead, utilizando su conocimiento profundo.
• Aportar conocimiento, visión y estructura para ayudar a encontrar soluciones a programas o entornos IT complejos.
• Guiar a los squads para encontrar la mejor solución de acuerdo con la estrategia de IT y escuchando las necesidades de la tribu, ayudando en la priorización de epics y features.
• Asegurar que las soluciones implementadas estén alineadas con el diseño y los estándares.
• Colaborar con el Domain Architect y los IT y Business Chapter Leads en la elaboración del roadmap de la tribu y sus activos.
• Ayudar a alinear y resolver dependencias entre squads.
• Facilitar el desglose de epics en features y la planificación de features cooperando con el delivery Squad, manteniendo una relación estrecha con las personas responsables de la entrega.
• Alinear con los IT Chapter Leads en la evolución y mantenimiento del IT Landscape de la tribu.
• Asegurar que las soluciones diseñadas estén alineadas con los horizontes definidos en la Domain Architecture.
• Mantener contacto con diferentes personas interesadas en todos los niveles de la organización de ING, colaborando con ellas para lograr el propósito.
• Asegurar que la documentación de mantenimiento de sistemas esté actualizada, incluyendo las nuevas soluciones implementadas.

• Una persona con una visión estratégica clara del banco y de los objetivos de IT.
• Mentalidad orientada a la resolución de problemas, acostumbrada a evaluar diferentes soluciones y equilibrarlas para alcanzar la mejor opción cumpliendo todos los requisitos.
• Debes conocer y comprender la estrategia tecnológica aplicada a los activos o productos de la tribu.
• Conocimiento práctico como software engineer, architect o en una posición similar con background técnico.
• Alto conocimiento de la infraestructura y los activos IT del dominio de la tribu.
• Habilidades para influir y gestionar personas interesadas.
• Actuar y tomar decisiones rápidamente basándose en la intuición, en lugar de razonar paso a paso.
• Saber distinguir entre detalles importantes y menos importantes.
