The Data Delivery Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of data initiatives across multiple initiatives within the UNITE program. This role ensures successful execution of technical simplification initiatives, oversees the implementation activities, and drives continuous improvement in data transformation and delivery.
What’s the role?
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of data transformation projects, ensuring alignment with UNITE program objectives.
- Closely track and oversee the implementation and optimisation of data activities.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, manage risks, and deliver high-quality data outcome.
- Understand and champion the adoption of key data capabilities such as data quality, data mapping, reconciliation and data migration readiness.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management for data initiatives.
- Monitor and report on delivery progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Support regulatory and compliance requirements related to data transformation and delivery.
What do I need?
- Proven experience in leading data delivery or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of data delivery, data migration, RAID and end-to-end project delivery tracking.
- Experience with data transformation, analytics, and lineage tools.
- Background in financial services, large-scale transformation, or regulated environments.
- 10+ years’ experience in data-related roles, with exposure to complex organisations and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for data in financial services.
- Ability to deliver insights and value to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Change management and agile delivery experience.
