Transportation Assistant Tasks & Responsibilities :
- Truck Washing & Installing Minor Add-Ons
- Install mud flaps, lug nut caps, wheel center caps, and floor mats
- Wash truck exteriors and thoroughly clean interiors
- Prepare trucks for delivery
- Installing temporary mud flaps
- Staging trucks for drivers
- Identifying pre-delivery needs (fuel, DEF, etc)
- Obtain parts for trucks going to detail shops
- Create LPOs as needed
- Move trucks between sales lot & service/leasing
- Assist with quarterly inventory
- Take photos of trucks
- Assist with truck needs: Adding anti-gel treatment to fuel, jump starting trucks
- Assist with lot maintenance: Snow shoveling/salting, trash/cleanup
- Drive shuttle vehicle for CDL Drivers as needed
Transportation Assistant Daily Responsibilities:
- Truck Needs (wash, add-ons)
- Ensure sales lot is clean & organized
- Ensure sidewalk is clear of snow and is salted; clear snow around trucks in sales lot
- Check for trucks needing fuel, DEF, and anti-gel treatment
- Photos
- Supply Inventory: Treatment, Coolant, Washer Fluid, DEF
- Jump packs charged
- Shuttle van needs: Washing, supplies stocked, checking for maintenance needs
