As a Digital Accessibility Specialist at Siteimprove, you will play a key role in helping organizations create digital experiences that include everyone. At Siteimprove, we typically offer salaries that fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range. The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors, including work location, relevant knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.


What you will be doing
  • Accessibility Testing & Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough accessibility testing on individual pages, following Siteimprove’s testing standards. Use the Siteimprove platform to identify trends in accessibility compliance and provide detailed, actionable analyses of clients’ digital properties. Stay up to date with and apply accessibility guidelines, including WCAG 2.2, Section 508, and Accessibility Conformance Testing rules.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Create user-focused, easy-to-understand documentation that supports clients’ success and strengthens Siteimprove’s value. Collaborate with clients to define clear and accurate Scopes of Work for manual accessibility testing projects.
  • Quality Assurance & Collaboration:
  • Contribute to team efforts to deliver accessible websites, mobile apps, and digital content through quality assurance evaluations. Identify and communicate trends across test cases to leadership in an inclusive and constructive manner. Facilitate discussions and present testing results to clients’ cross-functional teams.
  • Peer Review & Process Improvement:
  • Review work from peers to ensure accuracy and support continuous improvement of processes and deliverables. Contribute to the internal accessibility knowledge base to strengthen team expertise.
  • Project Management & Multitasking:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities in an agile environment. Assist in developing and presenting remediation strategies in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
  • Consulting & Advisory:
  • Partner with clients to align accessibility priorities with their business goals. Advise Customer Success Executives on consulting sessions to maximize customer impact. Support Sales in customer scoping exercises. Perform internal manual testing for other departments as needed.
  • Other Duties:
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to team goals and client success.


    What we will require of you
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Two or more years of experience performing accessibility testing.
  • Experience using screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, or other assistive technologies.
  • Proficiency in web accessibility guidelines, including WCAG, Section 508, and ACT-R.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to acquire knowledge beyond what is needed to complete assigned tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience in direct sales, project management, or client communications.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.


  • What we will love about you
  • Experience in front-end development or user experience (UX) design.
  • Relevant accessibility certifications, such as Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS).
  • 508 Trusted Tester certification or equivalent accessibility testing credentials.
