THE OPPORTUNITY                                                                                                 (POSITION OVERVIEW)


The Director of Leadership and Network Relations is to provide high quality services to uphold mandatory compliance in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to publicly funded state and federal programs, authorizer oversight requirements, and Network Relations.. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, analytical, detail-oriented individual with a passion for education.



WHAT YOU WILL DO                                                                          (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)


  • Support schools with authorizer oversight visits, including compilation of materials and coordination of day-of operations.

  • Provide guidance and support to organizational leaders, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Act as a liaison between the executive team and other departments to facilitate effective communication and coordination.

  • Establish, nurture and network relationships, ensuring a positive and cooperative partnership.

  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements set by authorizers, and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the development of organizational strategies and policies related to leadership support and network relations.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in leadership effectiveness and recommend strategic initiatives to enhance organizational performance.

  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on leadership development initiatives, authorizer relationships, and compliance status to the executive team.

  • Design and implement training programs for organizational leaders to ensure they stay abreast of industry best practices, regulations, and leadership trends.

  • Collaborate with HR to identify leadership development needs and tailor programs accordingly.

  • Assist in the development, preparation and document collection for new and renewal charter petitions.

  • Help implement new systems and processes or surface ‘continual improvement’ projects that streamline organizational efficiency and promote excellence in service.

  • Attend relevant authorizer, county, and state compliance meetings or webinars and support the codification of new compliance requirements as they surface.

  • Provide ongoing support and actively collaborate with all iLEAD educational partners, Schools leaders and employees to ensure that the mission, vision, values and philosophy of iLEAD Schools is clearly understood and carried out.

  • Perform other responsibilities as defined by the designated supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Communicating with others to exchange information. (In Person/Telephone/Computer)

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.

  • When needed to support a school or education program, must have the ability to travel by public transit as well as operate a vehicle for self-transportation purposes between worksites.

  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.

  • May encounter outdoor elements: high (>90)/low (<60) temperatures, precipitation and/or wind.

  • Ability to work in situations involving the need to make informed and quick decisions.

  • Ability to supervise/manage workers and delegate as needed in project management situations.

  • Reading detailed documentation and analyzing data sets. 

  • Writing professionally, both by hand and utilizing computer software.

  • Speaking in public settings including making public presentations to large and small groups. 

  • Dealing and navigating professionally through high-stress situations.

  • Must be available for in-person work.  Frequency to be determined in collaboration with the designated supervisor. 


WHAT YOU WILL BRING                                                                                              (QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.

  • Administrative Credentialed Required.

  • Extensive experience in educational leadership roles, with a focus on school administration and leadership development.

  • Experience in Non Classroom Based and Independent Study programs

  • In-depth knowledge of educational regulations, policies, and compliance standards.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.

  • Familiarity with the educational landscape and governance structures.
