Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Polysomnographic Technician in Rexburg to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY: A Polysomnographic Technician performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or the clinical director or designee.

Qualifications
Education/Certification: Successful completion of a polysomnography program (A-Step) with certificate showing completion or a Respiratory Therapist License.
Experience: Must take and pass national board credentialing test within one year from date of hire.
Equipment/Technology: Technician is required to prepare and calibrate equipment for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments if necessary. Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards. Perform appropriate physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals and to make adjustments if necessary. Perform routine positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting. Must have more than a basic knowledge of computer skills and become proficient with clinic software.
Language/Communication: Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak English. Exhibit good customer service skills.
