The Business Unit Controller plays a critical role in driving financial performance across the supply chain. Partnering closely with Procurement, Transportation, and cross-functional teams, this role ensures accurate reporting, robust financial controls, and actionable analysis that improves efficiency and profitability. You'll be at the intersection of finance and supply chain strategy-translating data into insights that support long-term growth in the food manufacturing industry.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the business unit.

• Partner with Transportation, Procurement, and cross-functional teams to evaluate cost structures, business decisions, and capital investments.

• Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior-year results to identify risks and opportunities.

• Translate cost-to-serve results into standard costing.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.

• Lead the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required); MBA preferred.

• 7-10 years of finance or accounting experience with strong GAAP and cost accounting background.

• Proven success in manufacturing finance, ideally with exposure to logistics, procurement, or supply chain cost management.

• Advanced skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and performance monitoring to drive operational efficiency.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.

• Ability to partner with cross-functional leaders to align financial decisions with supply chain strategies.

• CPA certification preferred.
