Position Summary

Guggenheim Investments is seeking an accomplished Vice President to join the IT Project Management team. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, this high-visibility role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. The IT Project Management VP will ensure all projects are aligned with business objectives and stakeholder expectations, delivering timely and effective solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This role is closely aligned with the Head of IT to collaborate on project timelines, prioritization, strategic initiatives, and business goals. The IT Project Manager will lead various projects where automation and end-used experience are key priorities. Projects will be firmwide, global, and can include network infrastructure implementation, AI integration, and end-user experience. This position is located in our New York City office.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations
• End-User Experience: Leverage and maximize our current technology solutions while finding creative ways to teach and coach our users to adopt new tools and efficiencies.  Ensure nimble and continuous improvements to our technology ensuring quick delivery and adaptation to changing environments
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and providing regular project updates to ensure alignment and buy-in
• Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative team environment, mentoring team members and encouraging knowledge sharing to build a high-performing project team
• Network Implementation: Coordinate the implementation of a new network infrastructure that meets current and future business needs, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability
• AI Integration: Plan the rollout of initiatives that incorporate AI technologies, ensuring projects utilize machine learning, data analytics, and automation to enhance decision-making and improve processes
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables
• Resource Allocation: Monitor project timelines/effort, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and projects remain within constraints across our internal tech team and adjacent partners and stakeholders

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience implementing technology projects end-to-end
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with shifting priorities
• Precision in handling escalations, documenting solutions, and following procedures
• Analytical mindset to problem-solve and analyze processes and procedures for improvements
• Ability to trouble-shoot complex issues and take preemptive action
• Demonstrated ability and experience in applying new ideas and approaches by staying ahead of design trends and innovations

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in technology or technology adjacent project management
• Proven experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles
• Strong communication skills with a focus on providing verbal and written narratives on the current and future-state of a roll-out to executives and end-users
• Ability to work effectively with global teams and cross-functional departments.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Must have demonstrated experience managing multiple projects leveraging storytelling, gaining buy-in, and translating technical topics to a wider audience
• Important competencies include building relationships, communication, and problem solving

Salary Range

Annual base salary between

$170,000.00-$185,000.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
