Salary / FLSA / Non-Exempt Grade 62 ($3,072.49 - $4,146.78 per month); plus local supplement (if applicable) The salary for this position is based upon the successful applicant’s years of service in the NC State Retirement System in the same or similar position. Experience outside of this system is not recognized for pay purposes. For current Lincoln County School employees, this position will be paid according to the current Lincoln County Schools’ pay scale. |
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Centralize school enrollment – All enrollments would flow through the Central Office for processing.
- Enrollment information would be processed by the 3 data managers and delivered to the school with
follow-up to the principals and data managers for completion at the school level. - Enter and manage student data in Infinite Campus including McKinney Vento, Foster Care,
summer enrollments, regular enrollments, withdrawals, transcripts, test scores, immunizations,
demographics, etc - Request cumulative records for new students and send cumulative records upon request for exiting
students. - Manages student cumulative records according to federal (FERPA) and district policies and procedures.
(Exception for grades 9-12: other clerical staff may be responsible for records duties at the discretion of
the principal). - Support existing school-based Data Managers
- Fill-in as needed based on FMLA, Illness, etc.
- Report to high schools at various times of increased activity such as the beginning of semesters.
- Utilize the computerized student information management system (Infinite Campus) to maintain a database
on student information to include student’s demographic data, emergency/medical information, schedule,
attendance, discipline, grades and entry/withdrawal records.
- Run report cards for high schools and store grades
- Support counselors with schedule changes during the 1st ten days of semester.
- Prepare athletic eligibility for high schools.
- Manage daily Attendance activity
- Prepare attendance reports and reconciles manual and computer reports monthly.
- Prepare and establishes master schedules which show courses, classrooms, time periods, teachers,
and other relevant information; runs student schedules and inputs changes and corrections for high
schools and assist with other school levels
- Work with Accountability to ensure accurate data entry for the purposes of state test and reports
within accountability - Perform advanced scheduling which includes assisting administrators in the scheduling process,
identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts - Responsible for identifying errors and reconciliation of required state reports (PMR, SAR, EC,
- Retention/Promotion, Dropout Data, AIG, etc.) in the State Reporting System in
Infinite Campus. - Prepare and distribute academic related reports
- Record and maintain student disciplinary actions and suspensions, and prepare periodic
statistical reports as appropriate - Troubleshoot and provide technical support for Infinite Campus within the school;
serves as a liaison and contact person to the central office Infinite Campus Coordinator to solve the more
complex data problems - Attend seminars, conferences, workshops, classes, lectures, etc., as appropriate, to enhance and
- maintain knowledge of trends and developments in the field of database management, with specific
emphasis on use of the student information management system - Must be able to perform very heavy work exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in
excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to lift objects - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
