- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts; prepare financial performance reports for regular leadership reviews.
- Support the forecasting and analysis of Revenue, Sales Compensation and Selling Expense P&L line items.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal requirements.
- Conduct Revenue Analysis including regional, product line and client performance.
- Complete Producer Performance Analysis including compensation, Diamond Club and EPP qualification status.
- Handle Carrier Contract Analysis which includes reviewing contracts with our carriers and determining the financial impacts of these agreements.
- Responsible for New and Lost Business Reporting including plan variance and performance drivers
- Understand broker commission agreements and analyze impacts
- Lead Annual Best Practices Study
- Assist with the periodic review of T&E spend and report creation.
- Assist with the annual revenue plan and periodic forecasting updates of revenue, sales compensation and selling expense.
- Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
In This Role You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required, Master’s Degree in Business or Finance preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related financial systems.
- Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
- Working knowledge of financial strategies.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
