Job Summary:
Supervise the Quad department - Inventory, housekeeping, lead employees to follow company policy. The Supervisor is responsible for running a profitable and efficient department. He/she will accomplish objectives using proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, and pricing. Guide production employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment, plan and assign work, place purchase requisitions for production needs, implement policies and procedures and drives improvements and implement new production methods, maintain equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. All while maintaining company standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and training of new staff.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Conduct annual reviews and evaluations.
- Review component inventory levels daily.
- Oversee daily workflow of the department.
- Work diligently to have materials prepped/ready to go.
- Schedule Production as needed to meet customer demand.
- Ensure all orders are shipped on their due date. Customer service is our priority.
- Participate in product development.
- Make sure dept is kept organized & clean for safety and for company standard.
- Inspect assembly procedures for quality, speed, and accuracy.
- Evaluate cost of assemblies, packages, and other inventories we ship.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Track team production and record KPIs for both departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels with physical counts.
- Place purchase order requisitions for materials and supplies needed for department.
- Adjust inventory as needed with item journals and assembly bill of materials.
- Interpret blueprints and develop plans for how to complete a project.
- Upgrade and maintain machinery.
- Train and coach team for growth and development.
- Work with internal and external vendors to ensure demand for materials & products are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
5 years of experience working as a supervisor or lead.
Experience in manufacturing and implementation of lean concepts
Experience in MRP software preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of being on your feet
Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds at times.
