V.I.E. Cross Asset Retail Sales
Responsibilities
As VIE you support SLS Team in Frankfurt in the daily tasks. This includes mainly the trade support tasks of B2B sales as well as junior sales responsibilities
- You will get a deep insight in the retail mechanics of the business
- The coordination between Sales, Trading, Backoffice functions and clients settlement teams
- Preparation of client pitches and product presentations, creation and identification of business opportunities and the optimization the existing client database
- You help to identify weaknesses in the existing processes and help to reduce the time spend on settlement. After sales support.
- Support the onboarding, KYC and Creditapproval process
- You will get a founded theoretical background of the Finance Business and will get the opportunity to take a deep look into different business lines within SG setup
- In your role as a VIE within the SLS Sales Team in Frankfurt we expect you to become a real part of the team.
A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.
Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Master’s degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Economics/ Finance
- Some experience in Financial Markets/Structured Products would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluency in English (written and orally) is a must and German is a plus
Technical, operational & soft skills:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office
- Energetic and motivated
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Germany is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
In case a VISA is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
