Midlab is currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to join the Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical, packaging, overflow liquid fillers, spindle cappers and pressure sensitive labelers with PLC & HMI trouble shooting.

Maintenance Technician Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for daily maintenance of all manufacturing and packaging equipment and facilities maintenance. Maintain and inspect daily logs and keep compliant with all facility and product certification. Ensure OSHA standards exist and all safety issue address form maintenance view. Ability to work across multiple departments to ensure good communication of PM and down time are shared.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preventive Maintenance: Maintain and implement preventive maintenance program.
- Team Focus: Work directly with production personnel to find ways to increase efficiencies.
- Continuous Improvement: Must have continuous improvement mind frame.
- Mechanical: Ability to work on a multitude of equipment that range from label applicators, pumps, fillers, and packaging equipment.
- Ability to rig and move equipment.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in maintenance environment
- Electrical Experience Required
- Packaging Experience Preferred
- PLC Knowledge Preferred
- Strong communication skills & ability to work cross functionally
- Mechanical background – ability to work on several different types of equipment
- Ability to lift 50lb
- Ability to climb heights and be in confined spaces
