Scope:
Team is part of the Product Development division, and the role is to conduct functional testing for new features as well as regression testing.
Our current technical environment:
Software: Web application testing, DB, Oracle SQL, Defect Management Tool -Jira , Testing Management tool if any, Rest API/Postman, Putty/M-Remote command knowledge.
Frameworks/Others: little knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka.
What you’ll do:
Develop and execute detailed test plans, cases, and scripts to validate software functionality, Usability, accessibility.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or TestRail, ensuring timely resolution.
What we are looking for:
2.5 - 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Ability to create effective test plans, test cases, and test strategies based on requirements and specifications.
Proficiency in various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Experience with tools like Jira for documenting and managing defects throughout the test lifecycle.
Ability to identify the underlying causes of defects and collaborate with development teams to implement solutions.
Understanding of SQL is necessary for validating data integrity and performing backend testing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital for reporting test results, documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to analyze issues critically and propose effective solutions.
Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot, debug, and fix issue
Collaborative mindset to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
Certification - ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent (Optional).
