Dispatcher na Steel Dynamics, Inc.

Responsible for scheduling and tracking inbound truck deliveries.

• Daily point of contact for sales and carriers
• Schedule all incoming deliveries
• Anticipate potential problems, analyze data and trends, resolve problems, and recommend solutions.
• Generate and maintain reports using Excel and other systems.
• Maintain accuracy of all paperwork and report with confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Create and maintain relevant information in ERP and transportation system.
• Functional backup in logistics
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience:

• 3-5 years of office environment work experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to make quick decisions in fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
• Possess a self-starter quality for seeking input and details from resources.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Must have excellent communication and math skills.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Excel

Preferred Experience:

• Previous dispatching experience
• Experience in using D365 and TMX
