Overview:

Under the general direction of the Director of Facilities Operations, the Wardrobe Manager manages the operations of the Wardrobe department, including inventory management, purchasing, fitting, cleaning, alterations, distribution, and tracking of all uniforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates and advises on the selection and implementation of new uniforms. 
  • Manages vendor relationships for laundry services. Coordinates with laundry service for cleaning of all uniforms.
  • Ensures proper inventory levels of all uniforms.
  • Oversees measurement and fitting all Team Members.
  • Oversees alterations and repairs of uniforms.
  • Instructs Team Members on proper fit and care of uniforms.
  • Conducts monthly inventory of all stock and supplies of ardrobe department.
  • Keeps all staff abreast of proper uniform requirements and any uniform changes.
  • Responsible for software and hardware programs for wardrobe inventory.
  • Oversees mail room and postal services.
  • Develops and maintains department policy, procedures, and goals.
  • Deals cordially and efficiently with other departments, vendors, executive management, and Team Members.
  • Hires, trains, develops, empowers, coaches, counsels, conducts performance and salary reviews, resolves problems, provides open communication vehicles, disciplines, and recommends terminations as appropriate.
  • Builds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, collaboration, performance feedback/management, and Team Member satisfaction while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
  • Five years of prior experience in a Wardrobe department.
  • Three years of prior experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Ability to operate sewing equipment with professional alteration skill and results.
  • Must participate and complete requiredongoing departmental training. 
  • Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, e-mail, and internet.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Native American hiring preference applies.
