The Work:

The SAP Finance Consultant is responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring SAP FI solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules. This role includes developing functional specifications, coordinating with technical teams for enhancements, conducting system testing, and preparing end-user documentation and training. You will provide ongoing production support, assist with closing activities and collaborate closely with finance stakeholders to optimize processes, drive system improvements, and support full lifecycle implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Gather requirements and design solutions to meet these requirements
  • Facilitate interaction with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet all functional requirements. 
  • Developing test strategies and managing large complex test efforts
  • Business process design and system analysis
  • Coordinate and manage across architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities
  • Maintenance, enhancement and/or development of SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications
  • Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning

 

Here’s What You Need: 

  • 4+ years of SAP Finance experience in two or more of the following domains: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Funds Management 
  • Experience with SAP Public Sector Financials
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior team members

 

Nice to have:

  • Relevant SAP certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
  • Public Trust Clearance required to start in the role

 

 

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Accenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits. You can find more information on benefits here. We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia is:
$108,400—$203,400 USD
