Job Description:

Project Manager 

(Semiconductor Construction & Cleanroom Systems)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in managing small-scale infrastructure projects and a deep background in process design, logistics, and operations management. The ideal candidate will have direct experience setting up, coordinating, and managing cleaning systems and cleanroom environments to support the semiconductor industry. This role requires a leader who can balance technical expertise, team management, and stakeholder coordination to deliver complex projects on time, within scope, and at the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee infrastructure projects with a focus on semiconductor cleanroom facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Develop, implement, and manage processes and logistical frameworks to support operational readiness.
  • Design and oversee the installation and commissioning of cleaning systems, cleanrooms, and contamination control protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and EHS teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Manage contractors, vendors, and third-party providers to align workstreams with project timelines and budget.
  • Drive continuous improvement, process documentation, and operational excellence.
  • Establish risk management strategies and lead issue resolution to minimize downtime and project disruptions.
  • Prepare and deliver project progress reports, financial updates, and performance metrics for executive oversight.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 7–10 years of project management experience.
  • 3 years in semiconductor or high-tech cleanroom environments. (preferred)
  • Strong background in project delivery, from planning and design through execution and commissioning.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing processes, material handling/flow, and logistical operations.
  • Hands-on experience with the design and management of cleanroom systems, including HVAC, filtration, airflow controls, and contamination mitigation strategies.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent priorities.
Additional Information:

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with semiconductor industry standards such as ISO 14644, IEST, and related cleanroom classification systems.
  • Familiarity with lean construction practices, Six Sigma approaches, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong vendor and contract management expertise.
