Job Description:

We’re accelerating growth at our brand-new Tulsa office and gearing up to scale the team!  As we build this site from the ground up, we’re on the hunt for an energetic, hands-on HR Generalist to join us on the frontlines of this exciting journey. 

In this dual role as Recruiting Lead and Strategic Business Partner, you’ll work closely with local leadership and employees to attract top talent, drive engagement, and help shape a high-performing, inclusive culture from day one.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT  

  • You partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and manage end-to-end recruitment for a variety of roles 
  • You manage candidate communication and ensure smooth and positive candidate experience 
  • You collaborate with the Head of Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment with hiring strategy and process 
  • You maintain applicant tracking and reporting for compliance and internal metrics 
  • You serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and HR-related matters 
  • You support the onboarding and orientation process for new hires in Tulsa 
  • You advise managers on performance management, employee relations, and organizational development 
  • You champion a positive work environment and help build a strong site culture aligned with company values 
  • You coordinate with HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., compensation, benefits) to ensure seamless employee support 
  • You assist with local compliance, policy administration, and data maintenance 

 

YOUR SKILLS MATTER 

  • Experience You have 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HRBP role, ideally with recruiting responsibility & HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus 
  • Education You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field  
  • Technical Proficiency You have proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting and knowledge of federal and Oklahoma-specific labor laws and regulations 
  • Soft Skills You demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and ability to work independently and handle ambiguity in a fast-growing environment 
  • Commitment to Excellence You are success-oriented and willing to take on multiple tasks
