Ameren Illinois provides electric transmission and distribution service and natural gas distribution service. Every day, we deliver electricity to 1.2 million electric and 816,000 natural gas customers in central and southern Illinois. We deliver safe, reliable energy to more than 1,200 communities.
Operate and Maintain compressor station equipment. Inspect, maintain, and operate wells, gathering lines, dehydration units, station metering, odorization, and other associated equipment at an Ameren Gas Storage Field facility. This position includes performance of DOT-covered safety sensitive functions.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must also successfully passed or pass the EEI Construction and Skilled Trade (CAST) testing and Gas Evaluation (Gas EV's)
- Position requires heavy lifting. (40 pounds required)
- Applicants must reside within 25 miles of the Operating Center
- Ability to obtain and maintain "Class A" CDL Illinois driver's license with hazmat endorsement within 6 months
- Demonstrated willingness to work in an outdoor environment in all types of weather conditions
- Demonstrated willingness to work in substantial amount of strenuous physical activity and occasional long hours.
- Ability to work productively, safely, and independently without constant supervision

Hourly Pay:
