Job summary:

Packaging Team Members are responsible for the efficient operation of the packaging equipment. As a member of the Packaging Team, associates will be responsible to rotate between all positions on the Team and will be expected to solve problems, address production difficulties, and perform daily tasks. Team members are expected to achieve production goals by working collaboratively as a team and will be expected to involve other support teams in production issues as appropriate.

Job Duties:

This position relieves all packaging positions per vacation schedule. Jobs included are Working Lead, Rapid pack operator, Day of Relief 1 – 6, Tail off phase 1 and 2, Sampler, Brine in and Brine out, Brine UF operator, Break relief Gr2 and Gr1, and Packers phase 1 and phase 2. While performing these jobs this relief person is expected to adhere to all the same SOP’s, guidelines, procedures, parameters & demands as the regular operator. The Vacation Relief will also cover any FMLA, LOA, or open position that are necessary for the operation of the department. The Vacation Relief per schedule will always be essential to the operation of the department and will never be considered “extra” or unnecessary.

Demonstrates good interpersonal communication skills. Understands and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s). Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner. Demonstrates integrity in all business activities with employees, visitors and vendors. Complies with all quality system and regulatory requirements. Reliable and available to work overtime or holidays as required. Performs other duties as required.

Pay Range: $31.22 - $36.65
