Start your career in public service. Under supervision, the part time Personnel Services Worker learns to provide investigative and comprehensive case management for a caseload involving child/adult abuse or neglect. Makes immediate and follow-up actions for at risk clients in need of protective services and/or placement. This position is located in Athens, Clarke County, Georgia.

Position Duties

Job Responsibilities:

  • Access and records client and community resource information.

  • Assists in collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and prepares necessary reports according to rules and regulations, state and federal laws.

  • Assists in identifying placement resources for children within the foster care system.

  • Conducts home-visit evaluations for information gathering to be used in assessments.

  • Maintains required documentation and completes reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

Ability to routinely serve on after-hours or on-call duty.
