Responsibilities
oMaintain analytics systems that simplify complex data problems into actionable insights.
oTranslate business requirements into technical data queries and reporting solutions
oEngage as a consulting partner for the lifecycle of data-driven projects, decision support, and maintain strong relationships across departments.
oCreate and maintain interactive data visualizations using multiple data sources, helping decision-makers understand key metrics and KPIs.
oDocument processes, methodologies, and data definitions to ensure data integrity and consistency.
oContribute to improving data quality, governance, and reporting standards.
Required Qualifications
oBachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or a related academic field, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience supporting Data Warehouse analysis and requirements.
oMinimum 2 years of proven work experience in a highly analytical environment performing complex business analyses, generating data-driven insights, and presenting findings to leadership and other stakeholders.
oMinimum 2 years of experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Sisense, JasperSoft, ThoughtSpot, PowerBI, Tableau)
oExperience working with large-scale/complex datasets and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
oProficiency in SQL with the ability to learn and use additional analytics tools as needed.
oAbility to deal with ambiguity and be flexible enough to shift workload in accordance with changing priorities.
oAbility to extract, cleanse, merge, and analyze data from varied internal and external sources.
oStrong presentation and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
oExperience in analyzing segments of data or utilizing tools to identify and explain patterns, trends, and/or process improvements.
oAbility to create clear, concise graphs, charts, reports, and presentations summarizing analytical results and justifying suggestions.
Preferred Qualifications
oProfessional experience and academic training in advanced analytics.
oExperience in Data Mining using Python, R, SAS, or other analytics software, and familiarity with the following libraries: pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels.
oFinance or Payments industry background.
