What You Do 

Strategic Partnership & Advisory 

  • Partners with assigned business groups to understand and execute HR strategies related to employee engagement, retention, development, and succession planning.
  • Provides timely support, guidance, and coaching to employees and leaders on policies, procedures, ADA, FMLA, investigations, and terminations.
  • Evaluates HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and promote a high-performing culture.
  • Reviews and recommend updates to policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices. 

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding 

  • Manages the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned groups, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and selection of qualified candidates.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to identify future skills needs and recruiting strategies.
  • Partners with hiring managers to design and implement comprehensive new-hire training plans ensuring a clear and supportive path through the first 90 days. 

Performance & Talent Management 

  • Partners with leaders to implement effective performance management practices that align individual goals with organizational objectives.
  • Supports managers in delivering feedback, coaching, and development conversations to foster employee growth and accountability.
  • Identifies high-potential talent and collaborates with leadership to create development opportunities that strengthen the internal talent pipeline.
  • Assists in succession planning by assessing current capabilities, forecasting future needs, and recommending strategies to ensure strong leadership continuity.
  • Promotes a culture of continuous learning and development, ensuring employees are equipped to succeed in their current roles and prepared for future opportunities. 

Employee Engagement & Relations 

  • Supports or leads disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations with professionalism and fairness.
  • Coordinates employee recognition programs, engagement initiatives, and culture-building events.
  • Acts as a liaison between employees and leadership to strengthen relationships, communication, and collaboration. 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; professional certifications a plus.
  • Three or more years of progressive HR experience required; experience in distribution, manufacturing, retail, or corporate settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS system experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude required.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% with some overnight travel.
