We are looking for a Consultant to support comprehensive oversight reviews of FTA recipients. We are looking for a motivated individual, who will work with a team to navigate review challenges, work with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to an environment where the entire team can be successful.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for assisting with Comprehensive Oversight Review
  • Leading or assisting with Special Assignment, Technical Assistance, and Corrective Action Support tasks
  • Drafting reports and technical memoranda
  • Assisting with the development of program and training content in alignment with FTA policy and guidance
  • Participating in conference calls, meetings, and conferences, as needed
  • Attending and providing expertise during recipient workshops
  • Other responsibilities to ensure successful execution of all work assignments

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with progressively increasing responsibility
  • Experience in compliance testing and/or audit roles

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks in the management of public transit, verify if requirements are complied with, and present solutions to any identified concerns
  • Ability to explain complex topics or requirements to non-expert audiences
  • Ability to locate root causes of issues, research multiple issues simultaneously, and to write comprehensive, accurate, and concise reports in a timely fashion
  • Capable of giving professional oral presentations
  • Strong analytical and training skills
