Own the strategy and performance of the Power Grid & Accessories advanced offers portfolio globally. Define where to play and how to win, convert strategy into repeatable deployment across regions. Turn market insights into clear portfolio bets, define how we win (value proposition, pricing, route-to-market), and scale repeatably with regions. You coordinate Sales, Offer/Product, Industrial, Finance and MarCom, and are accountable down to Gross Margin (GM) through mix, price realization and adoption, in line with the 2028 CMD ambition
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Strategy & Prioritization
- Map the playing field: For each country and industry, estimate market size, list the top customer problems, and note what competitors are doing in terms of innovation product offering, etc.
- Pick where to focus (3-year plan): Decide which customers, which offers, and which countries we will go after first. Mark the “where” we should start now vs. the “options to test”. For each, note what it needs to work (budget/CapEx, people, skills).
- Offer Backbones & Business Models
- For each top offer, make a clear 1-page plan: the customer problem and our solution, the value we deliver, the target price range/guardrails, and how we sell it (direct, via partners, or spec-in for tenders)
- Build a reusable toolkit (playbook, pricing template, pitch, demo, T&Cs) so any country can copy-paste and launch fast.
- Lifecycle & Economics
- Use a simple product flow: discover → launch → scale → maintain → retire. Cut low-selling variants (SKUs) to reduce complexity.
- Work with Industrial & Procurement to lower cost-to-serve and protect gross margin all along the lifecycle.
- AI Strategy & Implementation
- Identify key areas for AI implementation across key functionalities within Nexans. Collaborate with teams and propose AI solutions.
- Set light guardrails (data security, confidentiality, human-in-the-loop) and drive adoption with training and owner KPIs.
- Deployment & Enablement
- Build country playbooks (ICP, messages, proof points, objection handling, competitive traps).
- Train regional teams; replicate wins across markets with clear adoption targets.
- Data, Dashboards & Watchtower
- Publish a single CRM/BI “source of truth” (revenue, GM, adoption, win-rate, backlog issues, forecast accuracy).
- Maintain a competitive watchtower (price moves, launches, partnerships, hiring/patents) and trigger early actions.
- Governance & Communication
- Run a monthly portfolio review and quarterly executive check-in; ensure ≥85% action closure.
- With MarCom, orchestrate 360° campaigns for key offers; maintain the offer marketing playbook.
