With 35 locations open and more than 50 in the pipeline worldwide, the brand is expanding its reach while remaining rooted in innovation, inclusivity, and community connection.

The VP of Golf Performance Marketing will focus on attracting avid golfers and serious players to Five Iron Golf. This leader will drive growth in lessons, memberships, leagues, and club fittings - positioning Five Iron as the premier performance destination for golfers who want to improve their game.

Key Responsibilities

• Product & Program Marketing: Own positioning, packaging, and go-to-market strategies for Five Iron’s performance portfolio (lessons, memberships, leagues, fittings).
• Acquisition & Growth: Build and optimize campaigns that attract and convert avid golfers.
• Partnerships: Strengthen relationships with instructors, golf brands, and communities to enhance credibility and awareness.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with the marketing shared services team and golf operations team to deliver campaigns and programs (role begins without direct reports but requires senior-level leadership and influence).
• Functional Leadership: Act as the senior voice for digital, CRM, and performance marketing strategies - ensuring best practices are applied in collaboration with the teams that own execution.
• Retention & LTV: Create lifecycle marketing strategies to increase loyalty and long-term value.
• Measurement: Own KPIs including lesson bookings, membership growth, and retention.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of marketing experience in sports, fitness, membership, or direct-to-consumer performance products.
• Demonstrated expertise in product and program marketing - from positioning to launch to lifecycle growth. 
• Strong understanding of acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
• Background in golf, fitness, or other performance-driven communities is a plus.
• Able to act as a leader and strategic partner across shared marketing functions without direct team ownership.
• Analytical and creative, with proven ability to scale high-performance programs.

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Pay: $165,000 - $175,000 Base Salary
